Hermetic Transformers
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
6.3 MVA
Megavoltamperes
Hermetic oil transformers are made with a power of 6.3 MVA and a network voltage of up to 36 kV. Three-phase, oil-cooled standard transformers (ONAN) are available with internal (plug-in type) or external porcelain insulators.
Special load-free tap changers and other cooling systems such as ONAF, OOAF, etc. can also be installed on customer request.
Hermetic transformers have no expansion tank and are completely filled with oil. The hermetic seal protects against atmospheric influences and is factory-adjusted.
The elastic boiler tank with its corrugated walls controls the thermal expansion of the oil. These corrugated walls serve both for cooling and provide additional volume for the expansion of the oil.
The oil in hermetic transformers does not come into contact with air, so there is no risk of absorbing air or moisture.
Hermetic transformers are particularly suitable for small spaces or placement in compact transformer stations. Hermetic transformers are fundamentally maintenance-free.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
20 MVA
Megavoltamperes
Oil transformers with expansion tanks are made with a power of 20 MVA and a network voltage of up to 36 kV. Three-phase oil-cooled standard transformers (ONAN) are available with internal (plug-in type) or external porcelain insulators.
Auf Kundenwunsch können auch spezielle lastfrei laufende Stufenschalter und andere Kühlsysteme eingebaut werden wie z.B. ONAF, OOAF, etc.
In oil transformers with expansion tanks, the oil is constantly in contact with the surrounding air. Therefore, regular maintenance is important.
